CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Preschool Program
Ages 18 months - 6 years
Parent and Tot (12 months to 3 years)
45 minutes/week
Parent and child play together in what is typically the child’s first experience in a structured group setting. A qualified instructor introduces basic gymnastic positions and skills through use of obstacle course circuits which include imaginative play, body/eye coordination, and skill development stations.
Parent and Tot Class Goals:

Toddler will become familiar with basic gymnastics skills which include jumps, balances, stretches, rolls, and hangs.

Toddler will gain listening and social skills which include the ability to begin to follow directions and take turns.
Preschool (3 - 5 year-olds)
45 minutes/week
Join in on this fun introduction to basic gymnastic skills through use of kid-friendly and specially sized equipment and obstacle course circuits. This class is designed for children who are able to separate from parents and enjoy the independence of learning gymnastics skills under the direction of an instructor.
Kindergarten (5 and 6 year olds)
Children learn basic gymnastic positions, drills, and skills in a progressive manner through the use of gymnastics apparatus: floor exercise, beam, bars, and vault, rings, trampoline, and foam pits.
Preschool/Kindergarten Class Goals:

Student will gain coordination necessary for future physical and academic success through the development of basic gymnastics skills which include jumps, balances, stretches, rolls, and hangs.

Student will gain listening and social skills which include the ability to follow directions and take turns.
Recreational Program
6 years and up - Boys or Girls
We are proud to present BCG’s recreational gymnastics program! Our professionally designed curriculum provides gymnasts with opportunities to have a blast while they develop strength, flexibility, coordination, and self confidence through the mastery of gymnastics skills. Each student progresses at his or her own pace and advances once all skills of the current level are mastered.
Classes are not co-ed.
Rising Stars (Girls Beginners)
1 hour/week
No previous experience necessary
In a fun yet structured environment, students are introduced to the basics on all of the apparatus, including vault, bars, beam, floor, trampolines, climbing ropes, and foam pits! Qualified instructors emphasize safety and skill progression through instruction of basic exercises.
Shooting Stars (Girls Intermediate)
1 hour/week
Requirements: Mastery of Rising Stars skills
Mastery of beginner level skills is essential for sound development in the sport of gymnastics. In this exciting class, students not only focus on the fundamentals but are introduced to correct body positioning. Building upon previous experience, students work to develop the strength and flexibility necessary to gain intermediate skills.
Super Stars (Girls Advanced)
2 hours/week recommended
Requirements: Mastery of Shooting Stars skills
While continuing to focus on increased strength and flexibility, this class provides students with the opportunity to continue developing skills while placing greater emphasis on form. Super Stars have the opportunity to put skills together into routines and participate in inter-school shows with other gymnastics schools.
Super Boys (Boys Beginners)
1 hour/week
No previous experience necessary
In a fun yet structured environment, students are introduced to the basics on all of the apparatus, including vault, rings, parallel bars, high bar, pommel horse, mushroom, floor, trampolines, climbing ropes, and foam pits! Qualified instructors emphasize safety and skill progression through instruction of basic exercises.
Elite Boys (Boys Advanced)
1 hour/week
Requirements: Mastery of Super Boys skills
Elite Boys will participate in an exciting class where they will expand their skill base and continue to develop strength and coordination. They will receive instruction on all men's apparatus as well as auxiliary training on trampolines, climbing ropes, and foam pits!
Tumbling Program
(6 years and up)-Coed Classes
Beginning Tumble Tramp
1 hour/week
No experience necessary
Perfect for the student interested only in the floor exercise, students learn the basics of tumbling, including forward and backward rolls, cartwheels, round-offs, backbends, and handstands. Students utilize foam pits, trampolines, and the tumble strip during weekly sessions. As they progress, tumblers work to gain power and strength in order to learn to perform more challenging skills including: back-walkovers, front-walkovers, back handsprings, front handsprings.
Advanced Tumble Tramp
1 hour/week
Requirements: Back Handspring
Students work to expand upon their tumbling skills in order to learn front and back tumbling, consecutive back-handsprings, back tucks, layouts, aerials, and more!
Adult Tumble Tramp ( ages 18 and up)
1 hour/week (Drop-in Format)
No experience necessary
This class is perfect for adults who wish to incorporate basic gymnastics skills into their workout routine. With a primary focus on the floor skills, body weight exercises, conditioning, and stretching, instruction is concentrated on each student’s individualized goals. Previous gymnasts and beginners alike are welcome.
