The Prep Optional team had 49 gymnasts qualify to the invitation-only Region 8 Xcel Regional competition with teams representing AL, FL, GA, LA, MS, NC, SC, and TN. 32 of those gymnasts traveled to Pigeon Forge, TN to attend the competition.

Two of our gymnasts scored highest in the State competition in their level out of all age groups and represented the State of North Carolina on the State Team – Amelia B (Gold) who was the high score at States in all age groups, and Jessica L (Diamond).

At Regionals, Bull City gymnasts earned 50 bronze, silver and gold medals, including 19 event champions and 5 All-Around champions. Congratulations to Julia C, Rosie B, Sophie O, Hailey L and Rosie N for winning the All-Around competition!

The BCG teams had very respectable finishes with the Bronzes finishing 18^th out of 52, the Silvers finishing 15^th out of 66, the Platinums finishing 8^th out of 32 and the Golds taking 2^nd in the entire Region out of 69 teams!
